UX Skills

The first iteration included the main screens but didn't show each of the steps a user needed to go through to login. This led to the creation of version 2.

Project Goal

Paper prototypes have the advantage of being cheap and quick to create. By looking unfinished, I have found it useful in testing, because users focus on the concept rather than the visual design, wording, or images. In this prototype I did a study of the Esty login page on mobile.

Project Focus

UX design, Fast Prototyping

Final Project Deliverable

Low-Fidelity Paper Prototype

About

Esty has a login page for shoppers and sellers. I focused on a shopper signing in for the first time. The paper prototype was made to study a mobile sequence for signing in. With the paper prototypes, they can be quickly modified between testing sessions if something doesn't work. I was able to complete an iteration quickly and retest the prototype on the same day. As a facilitator, with the paper prototype, I had to clearly explain the context, give dialog, and answer any questions.
